Making the learning stick

So you spend lots of money, effort and time on training. The staff are all enthusiastic about it, but when they get back to the office, their bulging in-trays and then... Reality kicks in. After a few days the training and enthusiasm fades and it’s as if it never happened. Why is that? Because they haven’t had the chance to repeatedly used those skills in a meaningful manner.

So I use a learning support system. This provides online learning that strengthens and encourages your team during and after the training is completed.

As part of the learning experience, you will have access to an online peer support community and a Learning Platform for all training courses. This is through a Learning Platform called GiraffePad. An easy and simplified learning platform that harnesses the benefits of peer support to encourage you and your team. This includes 24/7 access to training resources such as videos and slides, further embedding the new skills and tools that you’ve learnt.

As budgets get tighter, making the case for learning and development will only get tougher but the ability to track the impact of training will go a long way to justifying the outlay.
